I'm referring to the dispicable comments on this "baptist church" website about Seaford's Cpl Corey Palmer, killed in action in Iraq and due to have his funeral with military honors in Seaford this Sunday.

First off, Christ said that nobody knows who is to be saved and who isn't - because nobody can look into someone else's heart and see their true beliefs. I do know that hate is not something that God endorses, except we are to hate sin, not the sinner.

Second, you can hold the belief that God is punishing the U.S. for whatever sins you can imagine, but you have to remember that we Christians operate under the New Testament and specifically, John 3:16 and Romans. Christ said that nobody knows when the end will come, maybe you Topeka "baptists" should re-read the new testament, and skip Revelation for now.

Third, I'm offended that you claim that certain people that many admire and who personally professed their faith in Christ are still damned. Go back and check Christ's teachings - Its pretty basic; You call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved. Reagan and White certainly did that in public, many, many times.

Finally, I'm offended by the implication that since I served in the Navy that my shipmates and I are  "fags" — a rather dumb term for a homosexual. You can ask my wife.

The first amendment allows you idiots to try to turn Corey Palmer's funeral into a circus. Thank God that the Patriot Patrol bikers, and our local citizens plan to turn out to drown out your idiot ravings. I suggest that instead of picketing, you retire to one of the other many churches in Seaford, and pray for your own souls.
