I am really starting to get mad at the folks who have made those pop-ups almost universal on both websites [where I can usually block them] and my television [where I can't]

These days when you are watching TV, the network idiots seem hell bent on blocking the bottom third of the screen with their logos, and little animated crap that both covers a part of the screen where things vital to the story can happen, and distracts from the story line, etc.

When I'm watching Crossing Jordan or CSI: Miami, I dont' want Dog the Bounty Hunter, or that stupid psycho show character wandering around the bottom of the screen. We like Monk, but he doesn't belong in the corner of somebody else's program, OK?

I really blame Soccer for all this.

Soccer broadcasts don't have time outs for commercials during the game, so the TV guys had to figure out how to sell advertising in a show that doesn't stop. They used to crawl the info across the bottom, but most of us ignore that once its run once.

Anyway, I just can't wait until the Tampon commercial runs at the bottom of some Lifetime show.

Its enough to make you gag
